The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. The second best way is to watch Elf with a good drink and great friends!
All elves 21 and older are invited to a grownups-only screening of Elf at the Newtown Theatre on Friday, December 13 at 8:00 PM.
In addition to the screening of Elf starting at 9:00 PM, each guest will enjoy one free drink (beer, wine, or a signature cocktail), free popcorn, and pre-movie trivia with Elf-themed prizes.
Don't be a cotton-headed ninny muggins! Come dressed to impress as an elf. The best-dressed elf, as determined by audience voting, will win a special prize.
Doors open at 8:00 PM. Seating is first come, first served.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included with my ticket purchase?
In addition to the screening of Elf, each guest will receive one complementary drink (beer, wine or signature cocktail), free popcorn, movie trivia, prizes, and a Buddy the Elf costume contest.
How do I get the $5 discount?
First, be sure you're already a member of the Newtown Theatre. This is a separate organization from the Newtown Arts Company. If you are not a member, the discount is not available to you.
If you are a member, please email events@thenewtowntheatre.com. After verifying your membership, we will provide you with a custom, one-time-use access code that will unlock hidden Members Only tickets.
Please note that this does not reserve tickets for you. If the event sells out before you purchase tickets, no Members Only tickets will be available to you.
Will the concession stand be open?
Yes, you're welcome to purchase popcorn, candy, and drinks at the concession stand. The bar will also be open to serve beer, wine, and a signature Elf-themed cocktail.
Can I reserve seats?
All tickets are General Admission. Seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving early if you're attending with a large group.
What are my parking options?
Free street parking is available along State Street, in the municipal lot between Washington and Centre Avenues, or the municipal lot next to Newtown Borough Hall (23 North State Street).
How can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be offered for any reason. If you can't attend, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person using it.
I didn't receive an email from Ticketbud with my tickets.
First, check your junk or spam folder in your inbox. If you don't see your tickets there, try to retrieve them here. If you have tried both of these things and you still don't see your tickets, please email events@thenewtowntheatre.com with your full name and the date your purchased your tickets.
Should I bring my tickets to the event?
Yes! Electronic or hard copy is fine. We recommend printing them out (or saving them to your phone) as soon as soon as you buy them. If you can't find your ticket, you can retrieve them here.
