Join us for the “Women of a Certain Age” comedy show featuring stand-up comedians Carole Montgomery, Rhonda Hansome, and Anita Wise at the Newtown Theatre on Saturday, October 5 at 8:00 PM.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM. Beer, wine and concessions will be sold from the time the doors open until the start of the performance.

With over two dozen TV credits to her name, Carole Montgomery is a respected veteran of the stand-up comedy scene nationwide. Carole has headlined clubs and colleges across the USA and starred in two different Las Vegas production shows.

You may recognize Rhonda Hansome from the film Pretty Woman and from her television appearances on Saturday Night Live, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, The Arsenio Hall Show, Showtime At The Apollo and The Joan Rivers Show. Rhonda has also been featured in The NYC Underground Comedy Festival and has opened for Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross. She is an “Outstanding Comedian” BackStage Bistro Award winner and an “Outstanding Pioneer” AUDELCO honoree. Rhonda plays resorts and casinos from Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas to Atlantic City, the Poconos and the high seas - and has entertained our troops in Korea.

Anita Wise has made numerous television appearances, including the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Bob Hope Comedy Special, Seinfeld episodes and cable shows such as An Evening At The Improv and Caroline’s Comedy Hour. She has also been featured at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, performing comedy in both English and French. Her humor is uniquely funny, personal and down to earth.
