The historic Newtown Theatre will feature the sounds of Motown on Saturday, April 9 at 8 PM. The concert will feature York Street Hustle, a 10-piece 1960s soul ensemble.

In a few short years, York Street Hustle has gone from filling tiny South Street bars to repeated sell-outs of WXPN’s World Cafe Live. Their repertoire spans well over 70 songs, including more than a decade worth of Detroit, Memphis and Chicago soul. This will be the band’s third concert at the Newtown Theatre.

Tickets are $35 per person or $30 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $45 at the door on the night of the show (if available).

DETAILS

• Doors open at 7 PM and the concert starts at 8 PM.

• The concession stand will be open. Beer and wine will be available for purchase before the show and during intermission. 

• All tickets are general admission.

• All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be offered for any reason. If you can't attend, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person using it.
