Batman: The Movie

  • The Newtown Theatre 120 North State Street Newtown, PA 18940 (map)

Holy special event, Batman! The historic Newtown Theatre will screen 1966’s “Batman: The Movie” in all its campy glory on Friday, October 7.

Doors will open at 7 PM and the movie will start at 8 PM.

In the hour leading up to the movie, enjoy one complimentary drink (beer, wine, canned cocktail, a Batman-themed cocktail, or non-alcoholic option), free popcorn, a series of riddles, a photo booth, Batman decorations, special contests, and prizes.

Based on the iconic 1960s television series, “Batman: The Movie” features Adam West, Burt Ward, Lee Meriwether, Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, and more. The movie follows the Dynamic Duo as they try to stop four supervillains who plan to hold the world for ransom with the help of a secret invention that instantly dehydrates people. It’s a movie so bad it’s good.

Online tickets are $20 for the public and $15 for theatre members. If available, tickets will be sold at the door for $25. All seating is general admission.
