Whether you’re attending one of our two sold-out ABBA tribute concerts on January 7 or couldn’t get tickets, you can still get a little ABBA in your life by coming to see “Mamma Mia! The Movie” on Friday, January 6 at 8 PM.
Mamma Mia! is a 2008 movie based on the 1999 musical of the same name. The film follows Donna (Meryl Streep), an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, as she prepares for her daughter’s wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile, Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother’s past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.
Mamma Mia! is based on the songs of ABBA, with additional music composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson.
