Music on the Street returns to Newtown Borough this summer with an eclectic series of eight free outdoor concerts!

This year’s series of concerts will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the short stretch of Greene Street between State Street and the creek (next to the Newtown Bicycle Shop).

This year’s summer lineup includes:

• The Triplets playing eclectic classic rock and more on July 11

• Matt Dorsey playing his own original music on July 18

• Keith Chasin playing pop jazz on July 25

• Faraway Guys playing classic rock, blues, and alternative on August 1

• Brad Hinton playing acoustical songs of heartbreak and hope on August 8

• RSVP Brass Quintet playing traditional and exotic brass tunes on August 15

• Dockside playing classic rock on August 22

• Meg Russell playing Americana and contemporary rock on August 29
