Music on the Street returns to Newtown Borough this summer with an eclectic series of eight free outdoor concerts!

On July 18, Matt Dorsey will perform his own original music from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the short stretch of Greene Street between State Street and the creek (next to the Newtown Bicycle Shop).

After July 18, the Music on the Street series continues with:

• Keith Chasin playing pop jazz on July 25

• Faraway Guys playing classic rock, blues, and alternative on August 1

• Brad Hinton playing acoustical songs of heartbreak and hope on August 8

• RSVP Brass Quintet playing traditional and exotic brass tunes on August 15

• Dockside playing classic rock on August 22

• Meg Russell playing Americana and contemporary rock on August 29
