The historic Newtown Theatre will host “Anticipation: The Music of Carly Simon” on Wednesday, September 25 at 3:00 PM. This special matinee concert is presented by Larry McKenna and benefiting Pickering Manor.  

“Anticipation: The Music of Carly Simon” stars Lauryn Obozian singing the beloved music of this American legend. She will be accompanied by a six-piece band and special guest singer Olivia Perrin. The concert features hits like “Anticipation,” “You’re So Vain,” “Mockingbird,” “That’s The Way I Always Heard It Should Be,” “You Belong to Me,” “Coming Around Again,” “Haven’t Got Time for the Pain,” “Legend In Your Own Time,” “Nobody Does It Better,” and others.

This show has played to a packed house as part of the Mt. Gretna (PA) Summer Concert Series.

Online tickets are $27 per person or $22 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $37 at the door on the day of the show (if available).

All seating is general admission.

• Doors open at 2:00 PM and the concert starts at 3:00 PM.

• Beer, wine and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show. 

• All ticket sales are final – please be aware of what event you are buying tickets for. Refunds or ticket “exchanges” will not be offered for any reason. If you can't attend an event, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person using it.
