The historic Newtown Theatre will present “Can You Dig It: The Ultimate 70s Celebration” Wednesday, November 20 at 3 PM.
During this special matinee concert, Can You Dig It tribute band presents a vibrant live production that transcends mere musical performance, offering a nostalgic journey back to the iconic 1970s. This immersive experience revisits the era’s unforgettable fashion, television shows, and cultural trends.
The music, delivered with tight harmonies, is complemented by iconic dance moves and sprinkled with fun facts, creating an engaging and dynamic atmosphere. As audience members revel in the sights and sounds of the 70s, they are transported back in time, leaving the show with a sense of having relived some of the best memories from that colorful decade.
Online tickets are $27 per person or $22 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $37 at the door on the day of the show (if available).
All seating is general admission.

Doors open at 2 PM and the concert starts at 3 PM.
Beer, wine and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show.
All ticket sales are final – please be aware of what event you are buying tickets for. Refunds or ticket “exchanges” will not be offered for any reason. If you can't attend an event, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person using it.
