A Motown Holiday with York Street Hustle

  • The Newtown Theatre 120 North State Street Newtown, PA 18940 (map)

The historic Newtown Theatre will present A Motown Holiday featuring York Street Hustle on Saturday, December 21 at 8 PM.

York Street Hustle is a 10-piece, 1960s soul ensemble that has played numerous sold-out shows at the Newtown Theatre. This concert will feature a special mix of Motown and Stax holiday classics, 60s soul hits, and B-sides by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Otis Redding, Nina Simone, Al Green, Gladys Knight, the Jackson Five and many more.

In a few short years, the band has gone from filling tiny South Street bars to repeated sell-outs at World Cafe Live. Their repertoire spans well over 70 songs, including more than a decade worth of Detroit, Memphis and Chicago soul.

Online tickets are $37 per person or $32 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $47 at the door on the day of the show (if available).

All seating is general admission.
