Cult Vault: History of the World, Part I

  • The Newtown Theatre 120 North State Street Newtown, PA 18940 (map)

It's good to be the king.

The Newtown Theatre’s Cult Vault series is back with four Mel Brooks films in January 2025. The lineup continues with History of the World, Part I (1981) on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30 PM.

This hysterical movie reimagines history through a series of outrageous events. From caveman antics to the gluttony of ancient Rome and the absurdities of the French Revolution, the film blends slapstick, song, and wit into a comedy classic. Starring Mel Brooks, Dom DeLuise, and Madeline Kahn.
