The historic Newtown Theatre will present its third annual “Artistry of the Acoustic Guitar” concert featuring internationally renowned guitarists Tim Farrell and Craig Thatcher.
This one-night-only concert will feature Farrell and Thatcher playing acoustic versions of rock, pop, traditional, and original music on a variety of guitars. They will also share stories about the instruments, the music, and their experiences.
TICKET POLICIES
Any tickets not sold before the show will be available at the door for $42.
You can present a hard copy of your tickets or the QR code on your phone.
Members may not purchase tickets for non-members. Those presenting member tickets will have membership verified at the door.
Ticket sales are final. Refunds or ticket exchanges will not be offered. If you can't attend, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else.

EVENT DETAILS
Doors open at 7 PM and the event starts at 8 PM.
Seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving early if you would like to secure your favorite seats.
Beer, wine and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the event.
Free parking is available along North State Street, in the municipal lot between Washington and Centre Avenue, and in the municipal lot next to Newtown Borough Hall (23 North State Street).
We have a wheelchair lift on our front porch and an accessible restroom on the first floor. There are no steps to climb to access the first floor of the auditorium. There are steps to the balcony.
About the Artists
Tim Farrell, a Council Rock graduate, is one of only four guitarists to be honored as one of the 100 Greatest Acoustic Guitarists who have also won Best Instrumental in the International Acoustic Music Awards. He has entertained audiences internationally, appearing at venues such as the Kimmel Center, Montreal Jazz Festival, Carnegie Center, Hard Rock Live, Metropolitan Museum of Arts, Memphis Acoustic Guitar Festival, and Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase among others.
Craig Thatcher began playing guitar in 1964 after seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Today, he is leader of The Craig Thatcher Band, an international clinician/ambassador for C.F. Martin & Co., and a talented solo acoustic guitarist who focuses primarily on fingerstyle country blues. He has performed in nearly every U.S. state and more than 35 countries.
