The historic Newtown Theatre, Relic on State, and the Eric Mintel Quartet are teaming up for a special pre-Valentine’s Day event that includes dinner at Relic followed by a jazz concert at the theatre on Friday, February 10.
The night begins at Relic at 5:30 PM when guests will enjoy appetizers (crab bisque or prawns), salad (Caesar or wedge), and a selection of fine red and white wines (Duckhorn Selections). This will be followed by a dinner of either filet mignon, salmon, or lobster gnocchi, capped off by dessert (key lime pie or chocolate cake). Relic on State opened in 2020 and is located in the 300-year-old Thornton House (across State Street from Starbucks in Newtown Borough).
After dinner, guests will walk or drive three blocks to the historic theatre for a live jazz concert by the Eric Mintel Quartet, which will begin at 8 PM.
Tickets are $150 per person for the dinner and concert (limited to 70 tickets) or $30 for the concert alone. Those who choose the dinner/concert option will have reserved seats waiting for them at the theatre.
