The Newtown Theatre will present its second annual oral storytelling event on Sunday, May 7 at 2 PM.
“Finding Home: An Afternoon of Storytelling” will feature three professional storytellers — Nashid Ali, Bill Wood, and Oni Lasana — and two amateur storytellers sharing original tales about the search for a place to call home.
Whether it’s a physical dwelling or a state of mind, the universal yearning to be at home in the world has created some of the most compelling stories.
This event is recommended for adults. It is not a children’s storytelling event.
Online tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for members of the Newtown Theatre. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $25.
